Leaderboard

Overview

The Leaderboard provides real-time community engagement rankings. It showcases top-performing members ranked by cumulative points, current rank status, and unlocked badges, fostering healthy competition and driving sustained member participation.

From the dashboard sidebar, navigate to Gamification → Points & Badges.
Click on the Settings tab and select Leaderboard (/gamification/points-and-badges/settings/leaderboard).

Key Features & Components

1. Podium & Top Performers

1st Place (Gold Trophy): Visual spotlight with gold medal/trophy flair for the community champion.
2nd Place (Silver Medal): Distinct silver highlighting for the runner-up.
3rd Place (Bronze Medal): Bronze styling for the third-place finisher.
Rank Positions (#4+): Clean numeric rank indicators for all subsequent members.

2. Member Profile Information

Each leaderboard entry displays:

Member Identity: Avatar, full display name, and username/handle.
Profile Quick View: Hover card showing member bio, join date, and membership tier.
Current Rank Tier: Visual badge indicating their status level (e.g., Gold, Diamond, Master).
Total Points Earned: Live total of points accumulated within the selected timeframe.
Badges Showroom: Visual preview of all badges the member has unlocked.

Filters, Timeframes & Sorting

Timeframe Scopes

Admins and members can view rankings across different intervals:

All-Time: Lifetime cumulative point rankings since joining.
Monthly: Points earned in the current calendar month (refreshes monthly for ongoing competitions).
Weekly: Rolling 7-day engagement leaderboard.
Daily / Sprint: Focused sprint rankings for active community events.

Sorting Options

Rank (Ascending / Descending): Order from #1 top performer downward.
Points (Highest to Lowest): View highest score totals.
Badges Count: Sort members by the number of unique badges unlocked.

View Modes

Table View

A comprehensive data table displaying:

Rank: Position medal / rank number.
Member: User avatar, name, and profile link.
Current Rank Tier: Metallic/gem rank badge.
Points Balance: Total score with currency/point icon.
Badges Earned: Mini icon tray of unlocked achievements.
Actions (...): View full member profile, copy user ID, or inspect event history.

Grid / Card View

Visual cards tailored for showcase presentations, featuring large member avatars, prominent rank emblems, badge displays, and score counters.

Administrative Actions

Search Member: Instant debounced search by name, email, or handle.
Export Data: Download current leaderboard standings and scores in CSV or JSON format for external rewards, audits, or community shoutouts.
Inspect Member History: Click through to the User History tab to view the detailed point transaction log for any specific member.
