Network Relationship Graph
Interactive D3 force-directed visual relationship graph mapping member connectivity, community clusters, and influence hubs.
Interactive Network Relationship Graph
Overview
The Network Graph (/members/graph) is a visual intelligence and analytics tool built with interactive D3 force-directed simulations. It models the social and operational fabric of your community, turning raw engagement logs into intuitive network relationship maps.
Graph Modeling & Semantics
Nodes
- Members: Colored by membership tier or classification chapter. Size scales proportionally with community Impact Score or point balance.
- Entities / Groups: Central anchors linking co-members across shared channels and events.
Edges (Relationships)
- Direct Friendships / Connections: Mutual peer connections.
- Referral Bonds: Directed arrows from inviter to invitee.
- Co-Attendance: Connections formed by attending identical workshops or webinars.
- Mentorship Ties: Verified mentor-mentee linkages.
Interactive Controls & Features
1. Dynamic Physics Simulation
- Drag nodes to reposition clusters in real-time.
- Adjust charge force, link distance, and collision radius to expand dense clusters.
2. Multi-Layer Filters
- Filter by Tier: Isolate and examine interactions among VIPs or founding members.
- Filter by Classification: Highlight specific cohorts (e.g., Class of 2026) or chapters.
- Edge Weight Threshold: Only render strong ties with multiple interactions.
3. Cluster & Influence Hub Detection
- Automatically identifies dense micro-communities and cross-pollinating members who bridge disconnected groups.
- Pinpoints isolated members who may require targeted onboarding outreach.
4. Node Inspection Modal
- Clicking any node opens an instant slide-out tray displaying the member's profile summary, key stats, direct connection count, and quick messaging options.
