Core Capabilities

1. Dynamic Schema Discovery

When a CRM is connected, Thrico queries the provider's metadata API to discover:

  • Standard objects and custom entities
  • Available fields, labels, and data types (STRING, EMAIL, PHONE, PICKLIST, BOOLEAN, DATE, LOOKUP)
  • Object relationships and reference lookups

2. Field Mapping Engine

Create flexible mapping rules between CRM fields and Thrico member profiles.

Example Field Mapping Configuration
{
  "sourceObject": "Contact",
  "sourceField": "Department",
  "targetType": "STANDARD",
  "targetField": "department",
  "syncDirection": "CRM_TO_THRICO",
  "transformConfig": {
    "type": "MAP",
    "dictionary": {
      "Eng": "Engineering",
      "Mkt": "Marketing",
      "Sales": "Commercial Operations"
    },
    "defaultValue": "General"
  }
}

Supported Field Transformations:

  • Direct: Exact value pass-through
  • Map / Dictionary: Transform external enum codes into human-readable values
  • Date Formatting: Convert between ISO 8601, Unix epoch, and custom date formats
  • Case Formatting: UPPERCASE, LOWERCASE, TITLE_CASE
  • Boolean Flags: Map truthy strings ("yes", "1", "active") to boolean values

3. Rule-Based Community Assignments

Automatically enroll CRM contacts into specific communities based on attributes:

IF Contact.AnnualRevenue > 50000 ──► Add to "Enterprise Customer Network"
IF Contact.JobTitle CONTAINS "CTO" ──► Add to "Technology Leaders Forum"
IF Contact.Status == "Inactive" ──► Remove from Private Channels

4. Synchronization Engine & Reconciliation

Thrico supports multiple sync triggers:

  • Real-Time Webhooks: External CRM changes are instantly posted to Thrico's ingest worker.
  • Scheduled Delta Sync: Runs every hour / day to pull records modified since lastSyncTimestamp.
  • Full Reconciliation: Compares all records between systems and resolves drift or discrepancies.
  • Conflict Resolution Policies: Choose CRM_WINS, THRICO_WINS, or LATEST_TIMESTAMP_WINS.
